Most of my work stems from a fascination with natural cycles and processes. The easiest way for me to investigate an intriguing phenomenon is to write a computer program that attempts to emulate it. Both works in this show were created robotically with custom computer code, and then altered by hand, with freely applied watercolor paint in the work on paper, and subtle hatching modification of the engraving on the scratchboard.
